At-home private blood tests
There is a number of blood tests you can do at home yourself via a finger prick. They are low-cost and can be useful to monitor certain blood markers, or when it’s difficult for you to get blood tests done via NHS.
I’ve partnered with Forth, a UK-based company that offers home private blood tests and health checks. You can browse and order blood tests below.

Vitality
There are over 30 markers included such as active B12, vitamin D, ferritin, HbA1c, liver functions, cholesterol, TSH, FT4, hs-CRP, cortisol and more. This penal is great for an annual health check.
Active vitamin B12
This B12 blood test kit measures the active form of B12 specifically (as opposed to total B12). This is the most accurate way to measure your available level of vitamin B12 and is the best early indicator of any possible deficiency.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D is essential for maintaining strong bones, but also plays key roles in boosting your immune system, muscle function, energy levels and reducing inflammation to name but a few. Vitamin D deficiency in the UK is very common and it should be corrected especially for those with autoimmune conditions.
Vitamin D + active B12
This panel combines vitamin D and active B12 together with ferritin, magnesium and cholesterol.
