- Autoimmune disease
- Gut disorders such as IBS or IBD
- Inflammation

What sample is needed to complete the GI360 test?
The GI360 is analysed from 5 stool samples collected over 3 days. Please read the full instructions here. Collection is easy: collect your stool and use the provided tools to gather some of it into a specimen vial. The vials are sent back to the lab via the provided, prepaid envelope and are analyzed. Once the results are ready, I will share them with you by email.
Can infants and children benefit from the GI360?
Yes. GI360 can be used in children and toddlers from the age of 2.
Postage and shipping
The price of the test includes postage to a UK address and return shipping to the lab.
Please remember that the sample needs to be submitted to the lab within three months of purchase.
What to be aware of before collecting the sample?
The GI MAP stool test kit will come with full instructions but there are a few things to be aware of beforehand.
- It’s best to wait 4 weeks before collecting a sample if antibiotics were used, or if you’ve had a colonoscopy or barium enema.
- If you take probiotic supplements or products such as Acitiva®, antiparasitics, and antifungals, please wait 14 days after your last dose before collecting a sample.
- If you take a lactoferrin supplement, please stop taking it for 3 days before collecting a sample.
- If you take digestive enzymes, antacids or aspirin, please refrain from taking these for 3 days before sample collection.
- Please note that if you take Movicol, it can influence a couple of markers on the test as it’s an oily laxative. If possible, and after speaking to a doctor, Movicol should be stopped 2 days before the collection.
- Do not collect a sample while menstruating or actively bleeding from haemorrhoids.
- Never discontinue prescription medications without consulting your healthcare provider first.
I’m ready to collect my sample, what’s next?
- Ideally, please collect your sample on Saturday, Sunday and Monday so that it reaches the lab in time. Wednesday is the last day the samples should be shipped.
- The sample must be shipped within 24 hours of collection. If you cannot ship the samples on the last day of collection, store the Whitetop vial in the freezer and the other vials in the refrigerator until ready to ship.
- Please follow the shipping instructions form contained within this test collection kit, which will tell you how to send back your test collection kit. The shipping cost is included in the price of the test.
What happens when your results are ready?
Your sample analysis typically takes 8 working days from the time the lab receives the sample. Once the results are ready, I’ll notify you and send them via email. Please be aware that the results will be in the format of the sample report provided.
It’s important to note that the price of the GI360 does not cover the time needed to interpret the results. This interpretation should be done in conjunction with consideration of your symptoms, medications, diet, and lifestyle.
Upon purchasing the GI360, you also have the option to purchase a consultation with me. During this consultation, we’ll review your results, and discuss your symptoms, lifestyle, and diet in detail. I’ll then offer personalized recommendations tailored to your circumstances.
