Functional nutrition testing

Carrying out functional nutrition testing helps both me and you, gain a better understanding of how your body functions and what you have too little, or too much of. This information, together with your signs and symptoms, will then allow me to create a targeted and individualised health improvement programme just for you.

Testing may require some financial outlay to start with, but in the long run, it can save you time, money and effort as it can help us identify the root cause of your health problems quicker and you can start feeling better, sooner.  Functional nutrition testing is a very valuable step in the process.

How much do tests cost?

The price of tests can range significantly, starting from tens of pounds and extending into the hundreds. I’m more than willing to talk about any tests and recommend the one(s) that would best address your symptoms. I’ll never push you to undergo a test. If you’d like a chat, please book a call with me.

GI-MAP stool test

GI-MAP is a stool test that measures gut microbiota DNA from a single stool sample. It detects microbes that may disturb normal microbial balance or contribute to illness and indicators of digestion, absorption, inflammation, and immune function.

GI360 stool test

The GI360 Profile detects and assesses pathogens, viruses, parasites, and bacteria to determine the cause of acute or chronic gastrointestinal symptoms and disease.
