For at least 3 days before the collection period, it’s important not to consume any sea salt, fish, shellfish, or other seafood, as well as any supplements containing iodine. This helps ensure accurate results during the iodine testing process.

- The sample must be shipped as soon as possible after collection, ideally between Monday and Thursday. This helps minimize delays in the laboratory receiving the sample, especially over the weekend, and ensures that the sample remains stable for testing purposes.

What happens when your results are ready?
Your sample analysis typically takes 5 working days. Once the results are ready, I’ll notify you and send them via email. Please be aware that the results will be in the format of the sample report provided.
It’s important to note that the price of the iodine does not cover the time needed to interpret the results. This interpretation should be done in conjunction with consideration of your symptoms, medications, diet, and lifestyle.
