Who can benefit from the Microbiome Explorer Comprehensive gut test?
This test is ideal for individuals seeking a thorough understanding of their gut health, especially if dealing with:
- Persistent digestive issues (bloating, IBS, constipation)
- Skin conditions (eczema, acne)
- Mood disorders (anxiety, depression)
- Autoimmune conditions
- Chronic fatigue or inflammation
By analysing both the composition and function of your gut microbiome, MetaXplore™ GI Plus helps identify imbalances that may contribute to these health concerns.
What sample is needed to complete the Microbiome Explorer Comprehensive test?
The MetaXplore is analysed from a single stool sample. Collection is easy: collect your stool and use the provided tools to gather some of it into a specimen vial. This vial is then sent back to the lab via the provided, prepaid envelope and is analysed. Once the results are ready, I will share them with you by email.
Can infants and children benefit from the Microbiome Explorer Comprehensive?
The MetaXplore is intended for adults 18 years or older only, but it can be used in children over the age of 2.
Postage and shipping
The price of the test includes postage to a UK address and return shipping to the UK hub, which will then ship your sample to the lab in Australia for analysis. Microbiome Explorer Comprehensive is only available in the UK at the moment.

The MetaExplore stool test kit will come with full instructions, but there are a few things to be aware of beforehand.

What happens when your results are ready?
Your sample analysis typically takes about 3-4 weeks (excluding transit to Australia). Once the results are ready, I’ll notify you. You’ll get access to the online portal where you’ll be able to see your results and download a PDF. When I share your results with you, you’ll have an option to opt for a consultation (£180). During this session, we’ll review your results together and discuss your symptoms, lifestyle, and diet in detail. I will then provide you with personalised recommendations tailored to your unique circumstances.
Repeat tests taken after a few months qualify for a 20% discount off the full price (applicable only if you’ve previously purchased the test at full price).
