Booking a nutritional therapy appointment is quick and easy. Simply send me a call back request and I’ll get back in touch with you ASAP.

Prior to your first consultation, I will ask you to complete a comprehensive questionnaire, symptom questionnaire and a 3-day food diary and return them both to me no later than 4 days before your appointment. The answers you supply are critical in helping me to understand where you are with your health, lifestyle and diet and what you are hoping to achieve. It also means we don’t have use your appointment time to go through all the questions as we can just review your answers and focus on the most important areas.

It’s vitally important that you answer all questions as truthfully as possible as this will give me the best chance to write a nutritional and lifestyle plan that is right for you.

A £30 deposit is required upon booking your consultation.

If you’re not sure whether nutritional therapy is what you need, please feel free to book a 15-minute free chat and we can talk things through first.

Our consultation will typically last between 75 and 90 minutes depending on the complexity of the health problems you want to address. I’ll explain how nutrition can help with the control of your condition and we might need to explore your medical background, lifestyle and current eating habits in more detail if necessary. I will also review any recent laboratory testing you may have. All of this will help me better understand your state of wellbeing.

During the consultation, I’ll take the time to explain in detail the why’s, how’s and wherefores of the role nutrition plays in allowing us to lead healthier lives.

At the end of the consultation, I’ll provide you with some handouts to take away which will be useful sources of information to use in combination with your nutritional and lifestyle plan.

Laboratory tests

In certain situations, it may be necessary to carry out tests in order to fully understand your condition and how to best support it. More about testing can be found here. I may also suggest DNA tests which will tell us more about your detoxification capability, sugar metabolism, fat over-absorption, methylation cycle, oestrogen imbalance, inflammation, caffeine sensitivity and lactose intolerance.

These are purely optional and whether you choose to do them or not, will not influence my ability to provide you with your personalised plan but it may mean that I may have to make slightly less informed decisions.

Nutritional and lifestyle plan

Within 5 working days of your consultation, I will send to you your nutritional and lifestyle plan. I will include any additional information that we discussed during the consultation and the plan will be written specifically for you.

The use of your plan by someone else is not recommended as it will be tailored for you and your conditions.

To help keep you on-track and focused, we can conduct a follow-up session which will usually take place 6-8 weeks after your first consultation, if there is no further testing carried out. Again, this is optional, but from experience, it is always worth it as we can see where you’ve got to, measure the impact of any changes and make alterations to your plan should they be needed.

If any laboratory tests have been carried out, then the results of these too can be discussed in your follow-up appointment, which would usually be 4-6 weeks after the initial consultation.

In addition, should you have any questions after your consultation, then I will be available to talk via email, telephone or Skype.
