FAQ

Do you do blood work in your office?

I do not draw blood in my office, but I use various test kits (stool, saliva, blood) that can be done in the convenience of your home, taken to an independent lab or carried out by a phlebotomist. I can recommend a local phlebotomist, or you can inquire with your surgery as they may be willing to do a blood draw for you once in a while. What I can help you with is the interpretation and understanding of the results of such tests.

Do you see children?

Yes, I offer consultations for children. If you are concerned about your child’s health, development, behaviour and/or learning then they could benefit from seeing me. I’m also trained in GAPS protocol. Please note that children under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Do you see older patients?

Yes,  elderly patients can also hugely benefit from nutritional advice.

Do I need to bring my child to the consultation?

Yes, if the initial appointment is about your child’s health, then ideally I will need to meet him or her, but they don’t have to stay for the whole consultation. They also don’t necessarily need to attend follow-ups.

If an in-person visit isn’t possible, we can agree on a virtual consultation.
